Our Birds at HideAway Haven

HideAway Haven is home to many variety of birds.  They love our garden and enjoy playing in the trees which is their playground. Here are just some of the birds which have been spotted by us and our guests.

Magpie - we love the way they sing so happily to us every morning.

Pelican - they fly over our HideAway everyday in huge flocks.

Golden Whistler - we have seen them just a couple of times, their singing is so pretty.

Grey Strike Thrush - have their home in the trees and wake us up every morning with their call.  If we don't answer, they will come and tap on the window.

The black cockatoos may be an endangered species but they descend on our gum trees in flocks of 20 or 30.  They are so noisy as they strip the trees of the gum nuts.  We love watching them.
